Here at NYCID we love our Community Schools. We are able to mentor students and work with the school and families to provide things that they may not be able to. It is great to be able to help out the students at our Community Schools but when there is a call to action for New Yorkers in a different borough in need, we step up. That is why on January 13th, 2022, our team and school staff at P.S. 78 in Stapleton collected and distributed supplies to help the families that were affected by the apartment fire in the Bronx. Our efforts were recognized by the New York City Office of Community Schools in their weekly newsletter, and we couldn’t be prouder. This is what we do and this is how we improve lives. Thank you to our staff at PS 78 and the school administration. Check out our section of the newsletter below.
