NYCID helps students and young adults through peer and family mediation, after school activities, summer camps, graduation assistance programs, and employment opportunities. We have partnered up with many schools and are always looking to expand. Our graduation programs have helped thousands of students at risk of dropping out earn their diplomas. Effective Communication
As the pillar to our work, we work with you to ensure that staff, students, and families are able to communicate through all types of conflict.
Trauma Informed Care
Our approach considers the complexity of how trauma exists in all relationships. We work with you to improve all outcomes by addressing them directly.
Personal Leadership
With Effective Communication and restorative practices as our guidepost, we approach personal leadership using mindfulness meditation and principle-based leadership practices which help build essential skills.
Social-Emotional Support
We improve lives by inspiring minds, filling hearts and helping youth see their full potential through realizing what makes them happy and fulfilled.
Whole Family Support
We strive to use a whole Family approach so that your school has the help it needs to engage families and provide meaningful solutions and resources.
Workforce Training and Employment
Focused on Opportunity Youth ages 16 to 24 years old, NYCID provides internship, Summer Youth Employment, and credentialing that helps to set participants on Career Pathways.
