youthThe New York Center for Interpersonal Development works together with certain schools and develops, modifies and implements self-sustaining After School care, After School Programs and Summer Programs for children.  NYCID works with schools to customize programs to meet the needs of the school and its community. These programs include opportunities for youth to learn conflict resolution, anger management and new decision-making techniques.

The after school child care is supervised by highly qualified staff and the program offers students engaging and fun filled activities, both academic and recreational, in a safe and structured environment, provided in the elementary schools during after school hours from end of school day to 6:00pm.

Every after school activity is fully customized to each school’s wants and needs and some activities can include Academic Prep Classes, Sports Clubs, Social and Arts Enrichment which can be provided in Elementary, Middle, and High School. Activities usually take place once a week for 10 weeks and repeat for 2 more 10 week sessions.

The summer programs offers students engaging and fun filled activities, both academic and recreational, in a safe and structured environment throughout the summer and are supervised by highly qualified staff. These programs are provided in Elementary, Middle, or High School. Times and rates vary by school.
