Descriptions of NYCID’s afterschool programs:
SONYC Programs: Free middle school after-school program funded by the Department of Youth and Community Development. NYCID’s SONYC programs are structured like clubs to offer young people choice in how they spend their time. There is a strong focus on STEM and Leadership activities led by professional/DOE staff.
COMPASS- an after school program funded by the Department of Youth and Community Development and offered for grades K-8.
