Chantel Cabrera is the Director of Workforce Initiatives. She joined the NYCID team in 2015 and previously served as the Program Director for NYCID’s Staten Island Young Adult Borough Center at Tottenville High School. She attained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University in 2008 then went on to become a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker in 2013. Her professional focus has been working with at promise youth ages 17-21.

We are so excited to have Chantel take on this new role with NYCID. Chantel is the kind of leader that never sits down.
She understands the complexity of the challenges our young people face as they develop the skills they need to obtain employment.
She is a change-maker and we’re lucky to have her.
