The P.S. 13 is a collaborative learning community wherein the parents, students, and staff
members have a voice and responsibility in the continuous shaping of and adherence to high
expectations, processes, and systems that ultimately result in the social and academic growth of
every student.

Responsibilities:
● Assist with general cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, and dusting surfaces.
● Remove garbage and waste materials in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
● Use mild cleaning agents and astringents under supervision to ensure safety and
effectiveness.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
● Follow safety procedures and report any maintenance or cleanliness issues to
supervisors.

Requirements:
● Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
● Physically able to move chairs, desks, and other light to moderately heavy furniture as
needed.
● Capable of safely handling garbage removal and disposal procedures.
● Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces.
● Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
● Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
● Participants over the age of 18 must receive proper training before handling hazardous
equipment and must be supervised at all times.
● Participants under the age of 18 may not utilize equipment declared hazardous.

Monday – Friday: 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM
