MAS SI is a community based organization that caters to family and youth all across Staten Island. MAS SI has programs and services like food pantries, youth gatherings, summer camps, and weekend schools!
Responsibilities:
- Assist the coach or lead activity staff in planning and organizing safe, engaging sports and outdoor games.
- Monitor and supervise youth during physical activities to ensure safety and participation.
- Set up and manage sports equipment before, during, and after games.
- Help facilitate structured play, relay rules, and encourage good sportsmanship.
- Support general event coordination for outdoor activities, games, and youth events.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable leading and participating in physical activities with children and teens.
- Ability to guide youth, manage group behavior, and promote safe, active play.
- Responsible, energetic, and enthusiastic about sports and recreation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions and assist a team lead.
- Punctual and dependable in an active, youth-centered environment.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
