Cesar graduated from NYCID’s Staten Island Young Adult Borough Center, seen here being congratulated by this mom at our June 2014 commencement ceremony.  Cesar was a basketball coach and his life was ended by a stranger as he was to begin college.  Cesar’s winning spirit and community service were present in every aspect of his life.  Staff and students of NYCID’s YABC program find strength every day in that spirit.  We will never forget.  Help us raise awareness and stop the gun violence in our streets.
